π What is ASEFYLS?
The ASEF Young Leaders Summit (ASEFYLS) is a global youth platform that builds a strong network of young changemakers across Asia and Europe.
It focuses on three key leadership dimensions:
- Self-leadership (You)
- Team leadership (We)
- Societal leadership (All)
The programme promotes innovation, intercultural understanding, and community impact, helping participants become forward-thinking leaders.

Participants will learn to:

The programme runs from June to November 2026 and includes:
1. Training Phase (Online)

- Interactive sessions (~4 hours per week)
- Learning anticipatory leadership & systems thinking
- Understanding future trends and ethical leadership
2. Action Phase (Local Implementation)

- Organize community-based multiplier events
- Apply knowledge in real-world contexts
- Create grassroots-level impact

Top participants will be invited to:

- Asia-Europe Youth Leadership Training (in-person)
- Advanced leadership learning using Arctic case studies
- Networking and intercultural exchange
Only around 40 participants will be selected for this fully funded mobility phase.
π° Financial Coverage (Fully Funded)
The programme is fully funded, including:
- No registration or participation fees
- Travel support (for selected participants)
- Accommodation and meals (for in-person phase)
Participants can join without financial burden.
π₯ Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be 18β30 years old
- Be a citizen of eligible Asian or European countries
- Be active in youth or student organizations
- Demonstrate leadership and community engagement
- Have strong English communication skills
Motivation and potential to create local impact are key selection factors.
