π§βπ Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship of eligible African countries:
- Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda
- Age: Under 30 years (as of 1 January 2027)
- University degree completed
- Strong interest in politics, democracy, or social engagement
- Good German language skills (generally B2 level required)

- Completed online application (German language)
- Motivation letter (in German, max 2 pages)
- Passport or national ID copy
- University degree certificate
- German language certificate (B2 or higher)
- Recommendation letter (academic or professional)

π Applications are submitted through the official Bundestag/IPS portal via German embassies or online system

- Online application screening
- Interview at German Embassy
- Final selection by independent Bundestag committee
π Important Notes
- This is a short-term fellowship, not a degree program
- You must choose either IPS Africa or IPS Global (cannot do both programs at the same time)
