The African Leadership Centre (ALC), in collaboration with King’s College London, is inviting applications for its prestigious Peace, Security & Development Fellowships and Associate Fellowships for the 2025–2026 academic year.

This program is designed to develop future leaders and researchers committed to shaping global conversations on peacebuilding, security, and development.


📌 Fellowship Types

1. Fully Funded Fellowship (African Scholars)

  • Duration: 18 months
  • Includes:
    • MSc in Global Leadership & Peacebuilding at King’s College London
    • Intensive mentoring (group + one-on-one)
    • Policy research & writing training
    • Institutional visits and simulations
    • 6-month professional attachment at an African institution

✔️ Covers:

  • Full tuition fees
  • Monthly stipend
  • Travel costs (excluding visa)
  • Research & conference support

2. Associate Fellowship (African Students)

  • For students applying to MSc Global Leadership & Peacebuilding
  • Funding:
    • 25% tuition fee coverage
    • £5,000 living stipend

3. Associate Fellowship (Global South Students)

  • Open to students from Global South countries

✅ Eligibility (General Overview)

For Fully Funded Fellowship:

  • Must be African citizen
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Interest in peace, security, and development
  • Academic/research background preferred

For Associate Fellowships:

  • African OR Global South citizenship
  • Applying for MSc program at King’s
  • Commitment to leadership & development careers
