The Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy Fellowship 2026–2027 is a fully funded, 12-month leadership development programme designed to nurture Nigeria’s next generation of ethical, visionary, and impact-driven leaders.
This prestigious fellowship provides young Nigerians with hands-on experience in public governance, leadership training, and policy-making, while building a strong foundation for long-term impact.

The Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy was established to identify and empower outstanding individuals capable of shaping Nigeria’s future.
The program combines practical experience and leadership education, enabling fellows to:
- Work within government institutions
- Understand policy formulation and implementation
- Lead community-driven initiatives
It is a full-time, merit-based fellowship, offering a transformative journey into public service and leadership.

🎯 Program Structure
The fellowship is built on four core components:

- Workshops, seminars, and expert sessions

- Placement in Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs)
- Real-world exposure to governance and policy
🔹 Capstone Project
- Fellows design and implement a high-impact community project

✅ Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be between 25–35 years of age
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or HND
- Have at least 2 years of work experience
- Possess a valid NYSC certificate or exemption
Additional Requirement:
- Public sector applicants must be within Grade Level 8–12
